Born in Veneto in 1929, Gastone Moschin is one of the most popular and respected Italian actors. His appearance in the Lux Vide series "Don Matteo" is one of his very rare TV roles. On the other hand he has an extremely brillant and rich film career. He has been acting in films since 1955 and plays both comic and dramatic roles. His performance in "Amici Miei" as Rambaldo Melandri, one of the leading characters in all the three films of this series, was particularly unforgettable. His cinema hits also include "L'audace colpo dei soliti ignoti" (1959), "Sette uomini d'oro" (1965), "Il conformista" (1970), "The Godfather Part 2" (1974). One of his most recent roles was the old Geko in "Porzus" (1997). |
