Nerino's father, just released from prison, tries to rebuild his relationship
with his son by bringing him to live with him. Nerino, however, suspects that his father is still hanging
around bad elements. Actually, the man is working together with Anceschi who has asked him to infiltrate a
very dangerous armed robbery gang.

Captain Anceschi is seriously injured while trying to stop an armed robbery
at a supermarket. He is saved thanks to the timely donation of blood by a young woman, who is a few days
later found dead. During his convalescence at the parish house, the Captain will begin an investigation of
his own and, together with Don Matteo, he will discover a link between the supermarket robbery and the death
of the young woman.
